From newsboy caps to velvet capes, few wore the '60s as well as Donovan.

Few wore the ’60s as well as this Glasgow native. Donovan started his decade by dropping out of art school to follow the beatnik path, traversed the worlds of Bob Dylan and the Beatles, and ended it in the company of members of Led Zeppelin and Crosby, Stills & Nash.

i love the best of Donovan and there's plenty of it. i have a liking for cosmic wheels too. like croz he seemed to be at the centre of a lot of things.

that occasion when, on film, Alan Price say's to Bob something like yeah we've got Donovan over here and he does that finger picking style' better than you!' and bob goes 'i hate him already' creased me up.
